India are gearing up for their next ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 match against Afghanistan on Saturday with some intense training sessions in Southampton. With captain Virat Kohli maintaining there will be no slip in intensity when they take on Afghanistan, expect another complete performance from the pre-tournament favourites at The Rose Bowl.

After a hectic first week at the World Cup, Team India players finally got a 5-day break ahead of their Afghanistan match. India had headed into the break on the back of a dominant 89-run win over arch-rivals Pakistan in Manchester.

Having clinched one of their biggest wins over Pakistan, Team India players are making sure they are relaxing after the high-intensity encounter.

Skipper Virat Kohli took to Instagram on Thursday to post a photograph of himself with Rishabh Pant, who had joined the squad as back-up ahead of the Pakistan match. The two players can be seen taking a trip around Southampton.

"Southampton diaries with this champ," Kohli wrote as caption for the photo.
