James Bond 25: Hidden camera found in women's bathroom on film set in England, man arrested
A man was arrested on the set of Daneil Craig's James Bond 25 following the discovery of a camera in the women's bathroom.
According to Independent, Peter Hartley, 49, was arrested for allegedly hiding a spy camera in women's toilets at Pinewood Studios in Iver Heath, Buckinghamshire, last week.
The studio reported the incident to the police which launched an investigation of the matter.
In a statement, the company said, "We take this issue very seriously. We reported the incident to the police and are supporting them with their investigation."
The police later informed that a man had been arrested in connection with a report of voyeurism. A police official informed that Peter Hartley was arrested on Saturday morning.
Earlier, the shooting was stalled as the Bond star Daneil Craig was injured during shooting in Jamaica. The actor underwent an ankle surgery for the injury in May. An official had statement read, "Production will continue whilst Craig is rehabilitating for two weeks post-surgery. The film remains on track for the same release date in April 2020."
Daniel Craig was not the only person who survived an injury on the film set. A crew member sustained a minor injury after an explosion on the set went awry earlier this month. A statement by thhe official James Bond Twitter account read, "During the filming of a controlled explosion on the set of Bond 25 today at Pinewood Studios, damage was caused to the exterior of the 007 Stage. There were no injuries on set, however one crew member outside the stage has sustained a minor injury."
The 25th Bond film, which is still known as Bond 25, is scheduled to hit screens on April 8, 2020.
