4 soldiers killed in Kilinochchi train accident

Four Army personnel have been killed and three others have sustained injuries after an Army truck collided with a Kankesanthurai-bound ‘Yaal’ train in Kilinochchi.

Speaking to Jaffnazone.com Spokesman of the Sri Lanka Army Brigadier Sumith Atapattu said three others who were injured in the accident were admitted to the Kilinochchi hospital.

The Army truck collided with the Kankesanthurai-bound ‘Yaal’ Devi train between the Kilinochchi and Murukandi railway stations.

The Army Media Spokesman said the truck was carrying Army Personnel attached to the Military Base.
