Bharathiraja has suddenly resigned his President position!

Known for creating a great identity in the making and the screenplay, Director Bharathiraja is one of the successful directors in Kollywood such that he had been appearing as an actor in many movies in recent times. However, as a senior person who had been attracting the audience by directing decades ago, Bharathiraja had been selected as the President of Directors Union a few days before. 

All of a sudden resigning from his President post, Bharathiraja had shared a note to the members of Directors Union and to the media stating that “With the great support of the members of the Union, directors, associate and assistant directors, I had been selected as the only person for the position of President on the last meeting with the Board members that had happened last month. On minding about the discomforts which will opt to happen due to the direct voting as a President without any competition and also without the proper voting which is not in the democratic way, I am resigning from my President position of Directors Union. As a senior member in the film industry, I will ensure that I will continue to guide the members with great love and support.”

Due to Bharathiraja’s unexpected resignation, it is expected that there will be another election for selecting the President for Director Union.
