PM’s security officer commits suicide by jumping before a train

A police officer had committed suicide yesterday (03) by jumping before a moving train near the Veyangoda Railway Station.

The victim is a resident of Rambukkana and has been identified as a 52-year-old named Fernando. He is a Sergeant attached to the Prime Minister’s Security Division.

However, the reason which led him to commit suicide has not been revealed so far.
