Rahul Gandhi Pleads ‘Not Guilty’ in Mumbai Court in Defamation Case Filed by RSS Worker

Rahul Gandhi, who appeared at a court in Mumbai on Thursday morning for a defamation case hearing, pleaded not guilty in the case filed against him by a Mumbai-based lawyer and RSS worker.
News agency ANI reported that Gandhi has pleaded not guilty and has been released on Rs 15,000 surety amount. Former MP Eknath Gaikwad has given surety for the Congress leader.
The RSS activist has filed a defamation case against Gandhi for allegedly linking the organisation to the murder of journalist Gauri Lankesh.
