What is the film which Vikram wanted to remake?
Bankrolled by Kamal Haasan’s ‘Raaj Kamal Films Internationals’ and ‘Trident Arts’ and directed by ‘Thoongavanam’ fame Rajesh M Selva, the trailer of ‘Kadaram Kondan’ has been released yesterday in Chennai.
When Vikram talked about working in ‘Kadaram Kondan’ in such occasion, he had stated that “I have come to the acting field after watching Kamal Sir’s films only. I have seen all his films. For those who were aspiring to become good actors, Kamal Sir and Sivaji Sir were the inspirations at that time. I am extremely happy for acting under Kamal Sir’s banner. I like Kamal Sir’s ‘Padhinaaru Vayadhinile’, ‘Vaazhvae Maayam’ and ‘Naayagan’ so much. Among those favorite films, I have a wish to remake ‘Padhinaaru Vayadhinile’ film. I can’t do that anyway because the story is in such a way.
I have played a different character in ‘Kadaram Kondan’. I have enjoyed and acted in this film. Another hero in this film is Abi Mehdhi Hassan. He has played an interesting character. We both have so many scenes in which he had shared more screen space together in the film and Akshara Haasan has also given her best. The film’s other hero is Director Rajesh M Selva! The way he acts and demonstrates the stunts will be fantastic. If we follow that and perform, the shot will be perfect. Along with Ghibran’s music, this film has come out very well. Everybody is telling that I have a good style in ‘Dhuruva Natchathiram’. Than everyone’s expectation, I have a different character in that film. Definitely, I hope that this film will create a great fan base for me.”
