Iraj's Facebook page blocked

Iraj Weeraratne says his Facebook page has been taken down as a result of a cyber attack launched by an organized group.

He also stated that more than one million people (over 11 lakhs) had liked his Facebook page.

It is a page that had been around for about 10 years as it was created when the Facebook was introduced to Sri Lanka, he says.

He alleges that this was done by a group affiliated to good governance rule.

He suspects that the recent announcement regarding the Kuragala power crisis, campaigning to remove posters in Colombo city and fighting to get Ven. Galagoda Aththe Gnanasara Thero released from prison have caused this.
