Parthiban is part of ‘Ponniyin Selvan’

Director Mani Ratnam is busy with pre-production works for his dream project Ponniyin Selvan. Stars like Vikram, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Jayam Ravi, Karthi and Keerthy Suresh have already signed the project. Sources say that the film will be made on a mammoth budget of Rs 400 crore.
Ponniyin Selvan will have its music by AR Rahman and the story will be narrated from the perspective of Vallavarayan Vandiyathevan played by Karthi.
Interestingly veteran actor-filmmaker Parthiban has joined the team. He will be part of the writing department.
Sources say that the movie would go on floors in August.
