Mother and son hacked to death in Kilinochchi

Police has launched an investigation after a 74-year old woman and her 34-year old son was hacked to death in Jayanthinagar, Kilinochchi.

Police said the duo had been battered with a blunt weapon while asleep.It has been revealed that the woman's other son is a mentally challenged person.

According to Police he had harassed his mother on several previous occasions. Further investigations are underway.
