Will embrace challenge of playing Tests in SL-Boult

New Zealand Paceman Trent Boult says he is embracing the challenge of playing test cricket in Sri Lanka.Ahead of the upcoming Test series between New Zealand and Sri Lanka, Kiwi pacer Boult said that playing in Test cricket will be a big positive for the team.

Speaking to media ahead of the tour he said, If we were getting back into one-day cricket it might drive a few of us mad after the amount we've played over the last little while. I think it's going to be a big positive to get back in the saddle and crack on with some Test cricket..

New Zealand finished as the runners-up in the recently concluded ICC Cricket World Cup. The Kiwis are currently placed at the number two position in the ICC Test match rankings

The team has their schedule jam-packed as they are slated to play against England after the conclusion of the Sri Lanka series. He added it is an exciting challenge for the players against some quality opposition in difficult conditions.

Yesterday New Zealand Cricket announced the 15-member squad for the upcoming Test series against Sri Lanka. The team will be led by Kane Williamson and the test squad comprises of four front line spinners.

The first Test match will be played between 14 and 18th of August in Galle while the second Test will be played from the 22nd of August in Colombo.
