Grade 5 Scholarship Exam today

The Grade 5 Scholarship Examination will be held today, across 2,995 examination centres from 9am to noon.

A total of 339,368 candidates will sit the Grade 5 Scholarship exam.Commissioner General of Examinations Sanath Pujitha requested parents to pin the admission number of students to their uniforms to ease the identification process.

Meanwhile, all outsiders including teachers and non-academic staff have been prohibited from entering the examination centres.

Issuing a statement Commissioner of Examinations Sanath Pujitha said all Principals have been informed that offices will have to be closed during this period.

All invigilators have been banned from using mobile devices during the Grade 5 Scholarship exam.The possession, scanning, photo copying, printing, selling, publicising and publishing of the exam paper, which is a confidential document, will also be prohibited.

The Department of Examinations meanwhile requested the public to report persons who violate the regulations.
