Nugegoda Youth arrested for posting fake pictures in face book

It is learnt that the Police has arrested a social media user for allegedly posting a fake photograph in Facebook depicting a pile up of remains of COVID-19 victims at the Kalubowila Teaching Hospital.

Police said the 36 year old resident of Nugegoda was arrested and later released on bail after producing him in court under the qurantine and Computer Crimes acts.
