Government vehicles nearly 5533 are found unusable

A total of 5,533 vehicles belonging to the Government, State Institutions, and Provincial and Local Government bodies have been identified to be in an unusable state.

The vehicles were among 82,194 vehicles inspected by the Ministry of Economic Policies and Plan Implementation.

As per the inspection, only 76, 661 vehicles were in usable conditions out of the total number of vehicles.

Among the vehicles, 33,931 belong to the Central Government, 26,395 belong to Government institutions, and 16,335 vehicles belong to the Provincial and Local Government bodies.

Among the 5,533 unusable vehicles, 2,038 belong to State Institutions, 1,801 belong to the Central Government, and 1,694 belong to the Provincial and Local Government bodies.

The Ministry of Economic Policies and Plan Implementation has decided to recondition the unusable vehicles or dispose of them.
