In the Bay of Bengal, It is reported that an earthquake ofRichter scale of 5.1 has hit in the Bay of Bengal region 610 kilometers awayfrom Jaffna, Srilanka today. Moreover, it is said that no causalities werereported up to now.

The earthquake has hit Jaffna in the Bay of Bengal at 12.35 pm today.
