A new update news confirm that a male (51 years) and a female (34 years) who have been getting treatment in PointPedro - Manthikai Hospital died according to the hospital circles.

It is reported that the deceased woman is from Valvettithurai and the deceased male is from Kambarmalai. It is informed that thereby the total COVID death toll in the Jaffna District has gone up to 231.
