Tension in Jaffna ! People who live in fear of celebrating the Day of the Day!

According to the reports, there is a stampede in the area where the Pongal Day is the day of the Pongal Day.The swords men attack has been reported in the Nachchimar Temple premises in the Vannarpannai area of Jaffna.

Though there is no further information on the attack, reports suggest that there is tension in the area.In the meantime, the people at the spot expressed that this matter was  informed to the police .The people of the region said that such an attack on the day of  the sun has caused fear and sorrow to the people of the region.

They futher said  that their festival day was distorted very  much by this  indecent acts of some vandalistsin the area.
