The matter of Litro Gas exchanging colour being investigated by police

An incident has been reported from Dickoya in Hatton where a yellow Laughs domestic gas cylinder had been fraudulently painted in blue to look like a Litro Gas cylinder and handed over to the dealer to purchase a Litro Gas cylinder.

When the dealer was loading the cylinders to the lorry yesterday (28), workers have got suspicious when one cylinder had its paint removed and yellow colour underneath had been exposed.

After checking CCTV footages, it has been revealed that a woman had handed over this empty cylinder at the time of purchasing a gas cylinder on Friday (27). The dealer has lodged a complaint to the police with regard to this incident.

Meanwhile, it is also reported that still there is a shortage of Laughs Gas cylinders in the market to cater to consumer’s demands. (
