President to visit attending the UN General Assembly in US?

President Gotabaya Rajapaksa is to travel to the US later this month for the United Nations  General Assembly, reports say.

 This is the first time he would be addressing the UN General Assembly after swearing in as the Sri Lankan President.Former President Maithripala Sirisena was the last Sri Lankan head of the state to address the event.
