A charitable man was taken to police station while he was giving 2000/= to poor people

A generous man who gave 2000/= to people under poverty line was called upon by the police in Nelliady, Jaffna. This incident happened in Nelliady - Vadamarachi in Jaffna district today.

A gentleman who had 10 lakh rupees with the list of poor people he had selected and divided his money with those people in order to make them to get 2000/= per each family in this locked down situation.

But seeing the people on the road , the police called upon his to the police station. Though it was happened it is learnt that he was neither arrested nor any legal action taken against him.
