People might have to adjust living with two meals only

Member of Sri Lanka’s ruling Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna (SLPP) has hinted that the public would have to make more sacrifices.

 Speaking to media yesterday (11), SLPP MP Jagath Kumara has said, "If everyone had 03 meals a day, maybe at this juncture, we will have to live by making do with 02 meals instead. While living like that, let us mitigate this (COVID-19) wave."

 The sacrifice would make a better future for the generations to come, he had pointed out.

 When questioned whether MPs were prepared to make do with 02 meals as well, the MP said, "We (MPs) have donated our salaries to the COVID-19 Fund. We are also making sacrifices
