More new houses to be recommended for members of parliament by PM ?

It is believed  that  in this critical financial situation of the government , a  proposal has been presented to the Prime Minister by the Urban Development and Housing Ministry Minister to provide parliamentarians housing from the Viyathpura Housing Project and to construct a further 200 houses in the Madiwela MP housing compound.

This proposed project has not received the recommendations of the Department of National Planning and as such, is set to be revised. 

The Ministerial Sub-Committee for State Expenditure has forwarded this suggestion. 

They have also stated that a fresh prosal could be submitted, if needed, after obtaining necessary approval.
