Mayor Manivannan ordered to stop the painting work

Mr. Manivannan , the Mayor of Jaffna Municipal Council halted the work of painting of Pillayar Temple within the premises Jaffna Municipal Council authoritative boundary.

It is reported that the above  temple's tank walls were renovated by erecting pillars and painted with colours equivalent to Buddhist flag. This made to create issues to  suspend  the work by the Mayor.
