Brahmanandam stable after heart surgery

Legendary comedian Brahmanandam was recently admitted to a hospital in Mumbai by his family, reports say.  The veteran had complained of discomfort and was taken to Mumbai after an initial check-up in Hyderabad.

Brahmi was admitted at Mumbai's Asian Heart Institute on Sunday.  After performing additional check-ups, the doctors there advised that a surgery has to be performed on his heart.  Dr. Ramakanth Panda has stated that the actor's health is now stable.

His sons, actor Gautham and Siddharth, are with him, taking care of his needs.

Thousands of his fans are putting out heartfelt posts on social media, wishing Brahmi a speedy recovery.
