Logan Ratwatte to be under arrest ?

The Prisoners’ Rights Protection Committee said that an attempt to erase the CCTV footage at the Anuradhapura Prison is underway.

Its chairman Attorney-at-Law Senaka Perera stated at a press conference that prison officials did not conduct their duty when they did not do anything when an intoxicated minister was harassing the prisoners and by allowing the minister to behave in such a manner. 

He added that the Minister should be arrested for entering a prison with a weapon and that an impartial investigation should be conducted into the incident.
