Mother and Daughter away for work. House broken & Jewelries robbed ! One arrested and other absconding ! in Jaffna Town it happened!

A house was broken  and 10 sovereign jewelries were stolen while the house lady and her daughter were away for work. This had happened, according to police circles , on 15th this month.

A 24 year old was arrested In connection with the above robbery and is said to be another is in absconding. The arrested suspect is from Gurunagar  and 5 out of Sovereign jewelries were only recaptured from the suspect up to now.

Jaffna Police prolongs the investigation.
