It is reported that in connection with the murder of a husband by his wife in Ariyalai- Boombugar the wife of Murdered husband gave her shocking verdict to the police..

The judge of  Jaffna Magistrate Courts today visited directly visited the spot where the murder took place had a inquiry. After he inspected the body he made inquiry and he ordered the police to handover the body to Jaffna Hospital for postmortem examinations.

According to inquiry made , it is reported that she (the wife of deceased) had told the inquirers that her husband used to come from work after heavy liquor and beat her. And she further said that it was the thing happened last night too. But this time he was more violently attacking herself and thereby she could do nothing  but for self defense only she had to the coconut scraper at hand immediately and began to attack him in retaliation only.
