swords rowdies in Jaffna connection with drug trafficking mafia groups ?

Itis reported that 4 persons have been arrested including a person namely Muthu(28) from Jaffna. The Judge of magistrate courts ordered the so called 4 persons to be remanded for further interrogation for a week.

Last night the four persons were arrested while they were travelling in a car in Thirunelvely area in Jaffna.

The police seized 2.94  m. gram  of heroin in their possession along with a sword too. The arrested were put under intense interrogation by the police. It is reported that one person is Muthu and he is from Ist Cross Street, Jaffna and other 3 are of 19 years. Moreover Muthu suspect has the record of involvement in many attack incidents.

As the police had suspected that this person, Muthu might have connection with Mafia groups in the country, they made a plea to submit before magistrate requesting a week time for further questioning the prime suspect Muthu. According to their application, the Judge had scrutinized and allowed the police to question further on.
