Robbery gang robbed two houses one by one ! 35 sovereign gold and 1,60,000 Rs. robbed!!

Agang of robbers had entered two houses in Kalmadu  in Kilinochi- Tharmapuram area and robbed alarge amount of jewels and attacked the house occupants and vanished away.

In the early morning, hearing the barking noise of the dog, one of the house members had come out to see what it was. When he came out the robbers standing in the frontier courtyard caught him and at the knife point they entered the house and robbed 5 sovereign gold jewels with  Rs. 95,000,

Thereafter the gang entered the next house and robbed 29 sovereign gold jewels with  65,000 Rs. and escaped .

It is to be noted that these two house owners are not only the relations and they had lost their legs due to Vanni War.

Tharmapuram police has been investigating this robbery case.
