Rotten judicial system in Srilanka! Took 12 years to decide a political prisoner quilty or not !!

A Tamil political prisoner served 12 years under detention without being tried as well as many others. He was released by Montragala magistrate courts by giving jurisdiction that he was not guilty in the case he was charged and kept under detention for 12 years.

A politician sentenced to death in a murder case with sufficient proof was let walk free and join the government to become a right handed man in the government now.

Being a state minister of prison, one had entered into two of the prisons in the country and threatened two of the political prisoners with his pistol. He was not punished under any of the Srilankan laws.

Srilankan laws always seem to be designed not to hurt any Sinhalese at any cost and at the same time they are fully restricted for Tamils only. Judges who serve in Srilanka to give sentences with a sort of racial mentality and look upon impartially too.

Whatever Srilankan politicians suffer, they won’t be able to give up racialism. Specially the present under Gottabaya the country has been drifting towards ruinous state but not towards a peaceful country.
