Government should abolish rowdies and drug sale- Punithanagar people demand

The people of Punithanagar in Katkovalam – Pointpedro have pointed out that unless  sword armed rowdies are controlled they are going to go out of their hometown as they are living in constant fear and being unable to go out of their houses.

Day before yesterday evening, in Katkovalam- Punithanagar area. About more than 50 rowdies had entered into their houses and attacked the people .

In this incident, 6 houses were heavily damaged and children,women in great number ran out of their houses.

While the people in the area were interviewed by media men they said that there is a person in their hometown and he is running drug sale and they had already made aware this matter to the police many times and with his leadership this attack has been launched as a revenge.

They further said to the media that this incident did not come to an end we are quite sure this would continue because it has been happening many times.

Hence we beg  the government to bring this matter to an end by abolishing these rowdies and sale of drug at him home.Otherwise we have to save our lives by fleeing somewhere without no other way.
