Contradiction between Colombo Port City Commission and Chinese company!- Colombo media informs

Chinese Company asked to change the money derive from leasing the lands to traders into dollar.

it is said that however Colombo port city commission has declined this request.And it said that Port city commission has insisted that though there is a scarcity for dollar it can’t be accepted.

It is stated that in this respect there has been a clash between the Chinese Company that has been doing construction works in the port city and the port city commission.

However the presidential Secretary, P.P. Jeyasundara has tried to intervene in this problem.But in port city affairs ,according to the rules, cant interfere.

As, while a part of port city  is allocated for Chinese company , it cant interfere in the other part of the port city beyond its boundaries.
