The Honda Vezel luxury vehicle belonging to Dematagoda Ruwan, with a monk!

The Honda Vezel luxury vehicle that was donated by notorious drug dealer Dematagoda Ruwan to a temple to be used by a prominent monk, is scheduled to be handed over to the CID today (30), according to police sources.

It is reported that this monk has strong political ties.

Officers from the CID searched the Dematagoda house of the racketeer yesterday (29) morning and found information on a number of undiscovered movable and immovable properties belonging to him.

During their search the CID had found information on the vehicle that had been given to the monk for his use.

It was reported that initially although the CID had requested the said monk to hand over the vehicle to them for further investigations, he had not complied.

However, after the monk was informed that this matter was to be taken to court, he had agreed to hand over the vehicle to the CID officers today.
