The effort of taking over public’s land for Naval use has been prevented by unanimous contradiction of people in Keerimalai!

The effort of measuring land 0.6474 hectares of public by Land Survey department for naval usage has been prevented by people in the area in Keerimalai.

The measuring works are to be started today morning for forceful acquisition of land for naval use had to return back abandoning the measuring work.

When the measuring works were to be started. Politicians, councilors and a large number of people gathered there and staged a protestation. Thereby it is learnt that  officers of Surveying department went back abandoning the work.
