Today holiday for all schools in North! Maximum Rain fall recorded!!

The divisional Secretary of Jaffna district has informed that holiday is declared for all the schools in Jaffna district for today.

Thirunelvely meteorological observatory has recorded the maximum rain fall 0f 200 mm in many parts of Jaffna district in the past few hours.

Many parts of Jaffna district have sunken in flood and thereby the schools have to be closed. This decision has been taken after discussion with the governor of the province.
