Passport queue created by the government for foreign employment!
A large number of people are waiting in line to obtain passports because the present government has created a large number of foreign employment opportunities, said Minister SM Chandrasena.
He said the people are obtaining their passports to go to work in countries such as Israel, Japan and Korea.
He said that a large number of Sri Lankans have been selected for employment in those countries and that it has caused congestion at the passport office.
He revealed this information during a media briefing.
