Basil created confusion by publishing misinformation!

The Minister of Finance Basil Rajapakse stated that Government incurred 500 billion rupees due to Covid infection in the country.

Yesterday when he started his budget speech he mentioned as above. However on 7th last September when he addressed in the parliament he had mentioned that due to Covid infection Government has lost 1500-1600 billion rupees.

According to that, a Sinhala media points out that his speech was utter wrong one.
