Foreign ships rush to Srilanka with 40,000 metric Ton diesel 36,000 metric ton petrol !
A ship loaded with 40,000 metric ton of diesel has reached Srilanka from Singapore. Moreover the Chairman of Petroleum Storage point Mr. Mohamed Uvais said that another ship loaded with 36,000 metric ton of petrol is to leave for Srilanka today.
He said further that meanwhile another with 40,000 metric ton of diesel has to reach Srilanka tomorrow.
The unloading works have started from the ship came on 17th and the works are on progress and be finished within two days.
Hence,he said that, there is no shortage for fuel in the country and nobody has to collect fuel in cans or containers to store it at home.
