The elderly person passing the road beaten and dragged into house to attack more severly !- In connection with Chunnakam – Ambanai attack 3 arrested including a woman!!

In J/ Chunnakam at Ambanai area the elderly person was attacked in the road while passing along the road, beaten and dragged into their house to attack more severely. In connection with this incident three including a woman have been arrested.

It is known regarding the above incident that Muthu Jegatheesan (55) from the area went out his home in his motorbike. The two from his next-door- house were waiting until he came out into the road and pass their gate premises. Then the victim as soon as was passing the two with iron rods sprang upon him and with a  blow they made him to fall down.

Following this they, got into their house and closed their house main entrance and started to make furious attack on him. Due to this, he was severely injured and his home people made a loud cry in order to save him from their attack. Then people around the suburb got together and save him from the attackers helped him to get admitted in Tellipallai hospital. It is reported that some of the area people who went rescue also were attacked in the incident.

The incident was reported to Chunnakam police and they arrested the house inmates with a woman in connection with the attack.

It is said by the police that an old enmity is the reason for the attack.
