Government servants go on strike! Date fixed up!!

The countrywide government servants go on strike for being neglected in 2022 budget. It is reported that on 29th this month (November) the island wide government servants are going to strike.

The Alliance of Trade Unions of government servants has stated this notice. While the organizer of the alliance Mr. Pradeep Basanayake stated referring to the strike, he said as follows:

There has been no answer for the ultimatum sent to the President Gottabaya Rajapakseon 13-11-2021 requesting him to find solution of Government servants’ salary anomaly.

Due to this, if there is no proper answer before 28th this month we have decided to take a countrywide trade union action on 29th of this month.
