Rejected police writ demanding prohibition on celebrating Great Martyrs’ Day in J/ Chavakacheri, Kodikamam areas !
The writs demanding to impose ban order to celebrate Great Martyrs’ Day in Chavakacheri and Kodikamam Police units have been rejected in Chavakacheri Courts.
The writs were made to demand ban order for against 13 persons in Chavakacheri and another ban order against 4 persons in Kodikamam area against celebrating Great Martyrs' Day
Today the judge of Magistrate courts of Chavakacheri took these writs and when he reviewed the writs he said that the names of those in this list are present members of parliament and the former members of parliament. Hence they are in the assembly to enact laws and they should have known about the laws.
Hence, for alone this ,there isn’t no necessity to give ban order for them. If they celebrated or partake in such an event , the police has the right to arrest them and produce before law.
By reasoning like, this the judge dismissed the writ as an inappropriate one.
