Intense heavy rain in North East provinces again! New low depression close by North!!

Jaffna University senior Lecturer N. Pradeebarajah said that in south east Bay of Bengal there has been a low depression forming in Bay of Bengal.

When he said further he added that this new depression might move in west – North West direction and it might come closer to North and east provinces. At that time on oncoming Thursday(25-11-2021),Friday(26-11-2021)and Saturday (27-11-2021) it will come closer by North Province.

It can be confirmed later on whether this depression would transform as a storm or when and where it would cross our sea shores.

However it is being said that the rainfall would increase from Wednesday onward step by step to reach its maximum fall on 26th and 27th instants.

Hence the people in low lands are instructed to be careful and avoid any fishing activities as the sea would be too rough.
