People’slands cannot be confiscated violating laws! Don’t report anything I didn’t say!!-North Provincial Governor.

North Provincial Governor Jeevan Thiyagarajah has said that he has decided to meet the owners of the lands in a long term problem to find solution for them.

Some reported that the governor is going to give their lands to someone after arranging a meeting. But I didn’t speak any suggestion like that and violating laws nobody can confiscate anybody’s land.

When-he said referring this to Medias, he mentioned that Tamil people have land dispute for 30 years. Some have for 20 years and some don’t know which land istheirs.

For these types of problems, there is an alternative solution and now there came new ways also to solve these problems.

For everything as a governor I have to solve these problems according to law only.
