Sexual harassment on woman police constable! Police Officer in charge under arrest!!

A police officer in charge has been arrested under the charge of harassing a woman police constable sexually.

The police media has reported that the above particular incident has been taken place in Hendara Police station.

It has been reported that while the woman police constable was on duty the O.I.C of the station has given sexual harassment to her.

Following this, the above O.I.C has been arrested and kept under detention in Matara Police station. In respect of this incident further inquiries are being held under the guidelines of the senior D.I.G of Matara Police Unit.
