Scarcity of wheat flour – semolina in Jaffna! In Black-market sale goes from Rs. 150 a kilo !!

Scarcity has formed in Jaffna Peninsula for wheat flour and semolina. However, it is being said that some traders sell wheat flour a kilo at Rs. 150 and semolina at Rs. 350 a kilo.

Thereby people suffer a lot in preparing sweetmeats and short eats for New Year celebrations.
