China opens 6.65 mile under water Taihu Tunnel!

After 4 years of completion, China has opened its longest under water high way tunnel to traffic. The tunnel runs 6.65 mile under Lake Taihu, providing congestion relief and a short cut between Shanghai and  Nanjing, the capital of Jiangsu Province.

This six lane tunnel has been built of more than 2 million cubic meters of concrete and is almost of 60 feet wide.
