Signal lights to prevent accidents at Maruthanarmadam and Urumpiray junctions! Police request ..

The police has requested to take actions to install signal lights at J / Maruthanarmadam and Urumpiray junctions.

In a discussion held in Jaffna Secretariat yesterday regarding ceasing the crisis of traffic congestion in Jaffna district, the police sources requested to install traffic signal lights at Maruthanarmadam and Urumpiray junctions.  

It is said that in the above discussion, the famous orthopedic surgeon, Dr. GobiShankar, who had also took part, expressed that last year too many accidents were recorded and in this situation all sectors should come forward to minimize these accidents.
