Robberies in 7 houses in J/Illavallai consecutively! Suspect arrested.. father and daughter who helped the robberies too arrested..

A suspect (of 23 year old) in connection with the robberies in more than 7 houses in J/ Illavalai area has been arrested. The father and a daughter who had helped him for the robberies too have been arrested.

In the area of Illavalai police division, many house breaking robberies have been taken place in recent times. This above gang had made a surveillance of the houses in which occupants used to go out for work.

Following the complaints made by those house occupants who had lost valuable jewels in robberies Jaffna Police Crime had taken swift action to arrest a suspect from Jaffna Vali-North Varuthalai Villan. Besides these, a father and his daughter  have been arrested for helping the suspect to sell the jewels.
