NEVER ENDING fuel, kerosene & gas queues

 Sri Lankans are currently facing serious issued due to the shortage of Diesel, Kerosene, and Gas.

According to News 1st Correspondents there were long queues at filling stations until midnight on Wednesday (30), however many filling stations did NOT have Diesel.

At the same time, people who were in the queue suspected the officers in the filling station were concealing Diesel stocks, and protested as well.

Fuel tankers with shipments destined to Sri Lanka are still in International Waters awaiting dollar payments from Sri Lanka.

Due to the delay in payment, these shipments continue remain outside Sri Lankan waters, and one shipment comprises of 37,500 MT of Diesel.

Meanwhile, there were long queues for Kerosene at several filling stations as well.

Fishermen have also been affected due to the shortage of Kerosene, and most fishermen said they are NOT able to ply their trade.

It has been days, weeks & months, but gas queues are still experienced in every gas distribution center in Sri Lanka.
