Mahinda loses majority; Opposition becomes 115!
The number of parliamentarians who believe that the Prime Minister should step down and a new Prime Minister should be appointed has increased to 115, it is reported.
Accordingly, Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa has become a Premier with minority powers.
Meanwhile, former Minister Udaya Gammanpila has told the Deshaya newspaper that an affidavit with the signatures of the opposition members will be submitted to the Speaker in the near future to prove that the Opposition has a majority in Parliament.
